With the arrival of fall, pumpkin spice is seen practically everywhere. From coffee shops and restaurants to stores, all sell pumpkin spice beverages, foods, candles and many other items with this flavor. However, with the variety of products that pumpkin spice offers, some people are  beginning to ask whether this trend is overrated.

Pumpkin spice is one of the trademarks of the fall season. This is because pumpkin spice flavors, including cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger are associated with the cold season and different holidays. One of the most well-known pumpkin spice products is a Pumpkin Spice Latte, which has contributed greatly to the popularity of pumpkin spice.

On the other hand, there are those who do not enjoy pumpkin spice and consider its widespread usage as an over-hyped trend. The reason that pumpkin spice became so widespread was that what was originally meant to be seasonal now can be found in almost everything. For those people, pumpkin spice does not mean much anymore.

At the same time, pumpkin spice is enjoyed by many people each autumn because of its warmth and sweetness. These people associate this flavor with fall and see pumpkin spice as something more than just a flavor, but an autumn tradition.

Whether pumpkin spice is overrated or under-rated depends on a person. While some people eagerly await the arrival of pumpkin spice season, the others prefer to avoid it. Nonetheless, whatever people think about pumpkin spice, this flavor has become a great part of fall.
